OUR MISSION

TCTC is a track and field organization with Christian values; comprised of a diverse group of athletes, coaches, parents, and volunteers.  Our objective is to build a strong and positive self-image in each participating athlete, teaching them to respect themselves and others, while preparing them to become champions in life and in competition.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

TCTC is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation operated by a Board of Directors. In addition, an Advisory Board has been established to assist with special projects and fund-raising. The Advisory Board is comprised of business, civic and religious leaders from through out the Triangle area.

FAMILY APPROACH

TCTC is not just a track and field organization. We believe that building a strong partnership between athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers and sponsors is critical to our success. These groups combine to make up "The Family".

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

As members of USA Track & Field, we adhere to their athlete centered philosophy of training. Athletes first and winning second", summarizes our approach to training and coaching. Superior ethical conduct, strong athlete-coach relationships, sound teaching and training are essential to our club.

The physical, spiritual, psychological and social development of our athletes is the foundation for our training. We train our athletes to be highly competitive in their events. In addition, we see track and field as a positive pastime and a healthy source of fun and amusement for all athletes.
