Our team participates in year round track and field
training!
The Indoor/Conditioning Pre-Season is crucial to an athlete's performance on the track when it counts. The workouts in the pre-season are
primarily base building workouts that will give the athlete the strength, stamina and confidence to compete in the more intense and skill specific work that will be the primary focus during the
outdoor season. Also, the Indoor Season is another opportunity for athletes to compete in their preferred areas when the team participates in meets.
The Outdoor Track and Field season is comprised of traditional track events
like sprints, middle distance running, hurdling and relays. We also offer field events that involve throwing and jumping. Those events include shot put, discus, javelin, high jump, long jump
and triple jump.
Our Cross Country season is comprised of athletes who compete to complete a course over open or rough terrain
faster than other runners. Athletes run mainly on a course which may include grass, dirt, mud or woodlands.
